Welcome to my creative corner! My name is Samantha, and I believe that imagination is the foundation upon which art and design thrive. My journey as a creative individual began at the tender age of five, I can trace it all back to a day in primary school when I drew an animal ark that wowed my teachers. Little did I realise that this piece of art and early recognition in design would spark a lifelong passion for creativity that would shape my future. Motivated by my early interest, I continued to nurture my artistic instincts and pursued a higher education in the field that captivated my heart. I embarked on a two-year journey in higher education, and am very proud to have achieved a National Diploma in General Art & Design. Those years spent in a design space honed my skills and cultivated my understanding of various artistic mediums, providing the canvas upon which I would build my evolving career. With a persistent passion in the design industry, I often found myself at the intersection of creativity and strategy, exploring and defining my professional path. My initial ventures explored a variety of design sectors, but it was the realm of interior design that truly resonated with my passions. The journey began when I tackled a personal project—designing my first home. The profound satisfaction I felt orchestrating colours, forms, and textures within those walls ignited a desire to take my creativity from personal projects to a systemic approach in the industry. In parallel, I have gained valuable experience during my ongoing years in project management, which I started in 2018. This role has taught me the importance of leadership, scheduling, communication, and attention to detail—critical elements that complement my creativity. Friendships with industry inspired suppliers, and contractors further solidified my vision, as I began to see how a project comes to life from a vague notion to a tangible space. I maintain a core belief that design should tell a story and evoke emotions, and I hope that you will join me on this exhilarating journey to experience the fusion of art and home living, to create imaginative spaces.
